Quadruple OMG Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is Seriously OMG good!
I dare you to make these and then tell me you didn’t like them.
My daughter and I had a serious chocolate craving so we gathered up everything chocolate that we had and turned it into an amazing cookie.
Basic cookie dough is the root of most cookies, what you add to that dough is what makes each cookie unique. We got this recipe just right on our first try, not only is this one good, but it’s amazingly delicious!
So we called this cookie the Quadruple OMG Chocolate Chip Cookie simply because it has 4 kinds of chocolate, unsweetened cocoa powder, milk chocolate chips, semi sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. And OMG is because they are `Oh My Goodness` awesome.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts (your choice)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until very smooth and creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla, mix well while scraping sides of bowl.

Mix dry ingredients then add slowly to wet ingredients until combined.

Stir in nuts and chocolate chips by hand if your electric mixer is struggling or switch to the dough hook, sometimes this helps.

Save a 1/4 cup of the white chips for pressing into the top if you need your cookies to look extra pretty for company.

For nice even cookies I like to use a cookie scoop, or just use a big tablespoon and scoop onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. I like to slightly flatten the balls so I don’t have a doughy center. Drop in a few of the white chips on top then bake in a 350F oven for about 10 min.

  3. Cookies will still look soft when removed but they will firm up when cooled.

This recipe makes about 36 cookies.
